I spent a day at the 2012 Winternationals Drag Race in Pomona a couple of months ago and am finally getting around to editing images from the day. The sound these cars make when they take off at the start of the race actually vibrates your insides. Crazy.

Spent a couple days shooting some landscapes for a client down in the Newport Beach area at Crystal Cove State Park. What an amazing place. It gave me some renewed faith in mankind that a spectacular piece of coastline like this has been preserved for everyone to have access to for generations to come. We should all support (and use) our parks more.
Two images from my Nuclear Boy story were selected for the American Photography collection this year. It’s been a hat trick with this assignment - as I recently found out that it was chosen for the Communication Arts Photography Annual as well. Pretty sure this is a first for me to sweep what I would consider the best of the award annuals with one story. Every year should be like this.
